On Thursday, December 19th, St. Nicholas’ day, those that celebrate their Krsna Slava can bring their Kolivo for blessing and Slavski Kolach for breaking at our church that day between 8AM-12PM. The Holy Liturgy will begin at 10AM that day.

Also, those who are not able to come at that time and/or want the priest to come to their home for their Krsna Slava to bless the Kolivo and break the Slavski Kolach, or for the blessing of water, or anything else. please contact Father Ljubomir Rajić directly at his cell number 416-828-4447 to make arrangements.

On Saturday, November 9, a “Čvarkijada” or “Crackling-o-rama” will be organized at our Parish premises, starting at 9am. So far, we have two teams: Dragan Stefanović and Fr. Ljubo Rajić. Everyone is welcome to come and socialize, help out or even organize and bring their own team. Interested participants should contact Dragan Stefanović at 647-468-8610 or dbstefanovic@gmail.com, as well as bring their own materials and equipment.

On Sunday, November 10, following the Holy Liturgy you will be able to buy fresh cracklings, fatty or lean “vanilice” cookies prepared by our sisters, as well as (uncooked, dry) beans of excellent quality per pound.

On Sunday, November 3, a central celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Serbian Orthodox Church’s Autocephaly will take place in the Diocese of Canada.

Divine Liturgy will not be served at our church that day, but rather we will be joining the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Kitchener starting at 9:30AM. The celebration will continue with a banquet at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church hall in Waterloo.

We invite you to dignify this momentous anniversary by your presence and participation. Tickets can be purchased at our parish every Sunday after the Divine Liturgy: currently there are 24 tickets available (3 tables for 8 people). Ticket price is $75 per person.
