The St. Archangel Gabriel Parish in Richmond Hill will organize a Dinner on Saturday June 3, at 7:30PM, in honor of ProtaVasilije Tomic, on the occasion of his retirement. On behalf of the community of St. Archangel Gabriel, I invite all who wish to share our love for Prota Vasilije to join us.

With the blessing of our parish priest Fr. Vladimir Vranić, starting on Sunday 26 February and throughout the Great Lent season, in addition to the regular Sunday school classes for children, the following will be hosted after agape at our Parish:

• Spiritual conversations for adults with Mileta Radenović
• Youth/High-Schoolers’ coffee hour with Fr. Vladimir

Join us in a friendly atmosphere to inquire, discuss or just listen-in about different edifying religious, spiritual and life topics!

We would like to inform you that the regular Diocesan Assembly this year is taking place February 3rd through 5th, 2017, in Calgary, AB. For this reason Fr. Vladimir Vranic will be absent from the parish from Thursday, February 2 evening until Monday, February 6.

While the Divine Liturgy will not be served at our church this coming Sunday, February 5, the church will nevertheless be open and you are welcome to visit, light candles, pray, or venerate the holy relics of our church.

Dear Parishioners,

We would like to remind you that the campaign for raising funds towards paying off our $800,000 mortgage is still ongoing. Our goal is to raise as much funds as possible until the Meeting of the Lord feast day, February 15 2017, since our mortgage renewal is due in March.

To this day $127,000 has been pledged* (of which $59,500 has already been deposited to our account).

PLEASE HELP US PAY-OFF MOST OF THE MORTGAGE, SO THAT, GOD WILLING, WE CAN START BUILDING OUR NEW CHURCH SOON!
