On Saturday, November 9, a “Čvarkijada” or “Crackling-o-rama” will be organized at our Parish premises, starting at 9am. So far, we have two teams: Dragan Stefanović and Fr. Ljubo Rajić. Everyone is welcome to come and socialize, help out or even organize and bring their own team. Interested participants should contact Dragan Stefanović at 647-468-8610 or dbstefanovic@gmail.com, as well as bring their own materials and equipment.

On Sunday, November 10, following the Holy Liturgy you will be able to buy fresh cracklings, fatty or lean “vanilice” cookies prepared by our sisters, as well as (uncooked, dry) beans of excellent quality per pound.

On Sunday, November 3, a central celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Serbian Orthodox Church’s Autocephaly will take place in the Diocese of Canada.

Divine Liturgy will not be served at our church that day, but rather we will be joining the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Kitchener starting at 9:30AM. The celebration will continue with a banquet at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church hall in Waterloo.

We invite you to dignify this momentous anniversary by your presence and participation. Tickets can be purchased at our parish every Sunday after the Divine Liturgy: currently there are 24 tickets available (3 tables for 8 people). Ticket price is $75 per person.

Dear Parishioners,

Join us in the fall clean-up of our parish property on Saturday, October 19th from 11am onwards. Duško Knežević and Dragutin Međedović will be roasting a pig and a lamb on a spit for all the participants of the clean-up.

Come help tidy-up our property and socialize at our family gathering, along with great food and a game of bocce. All are welcome!

The Holy Liturgy will begin at 10am that day: prepare the list of names of your departed ones you want to be mentioned at the proskomedia and during the service.
